Educational use
Beaver Ledger provides general information and simplified estimates. It is not tax, accounting, financial, investment, mortgage, or legal advice, and it does not file returns or arrange financing.
Estimates can differ
Actual outcomes depend on complete personal facts, current law, administrative rules, lender terms, and calculations outside the supported scope. You remain responsible for decisions made using the service and should verify material decisions with official sources or a qualified professional.
Charity profiles
Giving profiles summarize public information we checked on the dates shown. They are not an audit, a ranking or a recommendation, and an organization’s details can change between checks.
Donations and outside links
Donation links and other outside links go to websites we don’t control, such as a charity’s own donation page, with their own terms and privacy practices. Beaver Ledger never receives, holds or processes donations. Your gift, and any receipt for it, is between you and the charity.
Government sources
Official federal, provincial, and territorial sources remain authoritative. Beaver Ledger is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Canada Revenue Agency or another government body.
Provided as is
We work to keep rates, rules and charity details accurate, but Beaver Ledger is provided as is and as available. We don’t guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors, or that it will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Beaver Ledger and BeaverByte Software Inc. are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, its calculators or its guides, or from relying on an estimate. This includes decisions about taxes, borrowing and donations.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after an update, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
