Editorial practices and corrections

How we write, date and correct our pages.

Beaver Ledger publishes original educational explanations with sources near material claims. We prefer CRA, government and regulator guidance for financial rules, and distinguish tax years, jurisdictions and calculator exclusions. Numerical examples state their assumptions and are checked separately from the prose.

An editorial date records a substantive revision; it is not a professional certification or a guarantee that a rule will remain unchanged. We do not claim an accountant, lawyer or other professional reviewed these articles. Where official figures for a calculator scenario are not yet published, the result is labelled an estimate with its assumptions.
